Biography

Carly holds a Master of Music degree from New England Conservatory, where she was awarded the Helen Haxton Stare Presidential Scholarship. Prior to her work at NEC, Carly received her Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Manhattan School of Music. Ms. Stein has previously sung with the Salzburg Mozarteum, Basoti, Chautauqua, Pine Mountain Music Festival, Boston Lyric Opera, Opera Boston, Chicago Opera Theater, Ravinia, and the Lyric Opera of Chicago.  In addition to her classical roles, she was a member of the American Musical Theater Ensemble in New York. Most recently, Carly has been seen as an ensemble member of the Lyric Opera of Chicago during the regular season, as well as in Oklahoma!, The Sound of Music, and Carousel.
